SUMMARY:Intro to FX Makeup with Tammy Neron
DESCRIPTION:This is our most popular workshop in the 7 years we have been hosting workshops! Special effects makeup is a fun and rewarding challenge. Whether you are a professional makeup artist or enjoy makeup as a hobby\, this workshop is designed for everyone at all skill levels. Special effects makeup can be used for transforming a person into a creature/monster\, older age\, gore\, injury and so much more. This workshop is taught by a professional makeup artist that can teach you the tips and tricks of the industry while practicing safely. \nTammy is a professional makeup artist that trained at Blanche MacDonald. Tammy specializes in FX and fantasy makeup. Tammy loves working in film\, with her clients and loves to teach her specialized makeup skills! \nThis hands-on and demonstration workshop will cover: \n\nWhat is special effects makeup and why is it used\nWhat are the best brands to use\, where to source them and how to take care of your kit\nExplore how to make quick and easy prosthetics\nLearn how to apply prosthetics and remove safely\nLearn the art of old-age makeup\, realistic injuries and illusion makeup\nPractice making a cut and bruise on yourself\nDiscuss how to use gel effects and stage blood\n\nAll skill levels are welcome. Please wear your crafting clothing due to makeup being used in this workshop. Please be aware latex may be used in this workshop. This workshop is $50 and is 2 hours. \nAll materials for this workshop will be supplied. \nStudents will receive a 10% discount on all makeup and makeup tools following the workshop. \nBe sure to book early! Our workshops are taught in small groups. Each workshop has a minimum amount of students needed. If workshop does not meet that minimum by 72 hours before scheduled start the workshop will be cancelled or rescheduled. SUMMARY:FX Makeup Level Two with Tammy Neron
DESCRIPTION:In this workshop we will teach the next level of advanced special effects makeup sharpening your makeup application and painting skills. Having the skills to not only to apply makeup to oneself but to build body parts is essential to any makeup artist. In this workshop you will also learn how to build body part props and prosthetics as you will be making a copy of YOUR OWN HAND! Be ready to get your hands dirty because this is a special effects project workshop! \nTammy is a professional makeup artist that trained at Blanche MacDonald. Tammy specializes in FX and fantasy makeup. Tammy loves working in film\, with her clients and loves to teach her specialized makeup skills! \nThis hands-on project workshop will cover: \n\nDiscuss what is needed in an advanced FX kit and its uses\nWhere to source materials and tools\nYou will build a copy of your own hand using latex and other materials\nLearn and practice how to paint prosthetics so they look realistic\nLearn how to build veins in your project\nExplore what these props/ prosthetics can be used for and how to fill them so they look realistic\n\nAll skill levels are welcome. We do prefer you have taken Intro to FX. Please wear your crafting clothing due to makeup being used in this workshop. Please be aware latex will be used in this workshop. This workshop is $50 and is 2 hours. \nPlease bring a hair dyer.
